This is to note that the original Mechanical Linkage, the Peaucellier-Lipkin linkage, from which the EB Pendulum is only one point in difference

( a Switch of Pivot point and purpose = EB Pendulums purpose is to produce True Curves as apposed to the Single Real Straight Line Mechanical Motion of the Peaucellier-Lipkin Linkage ) ,

was invented / introduced in the later part of the 18 hundred's and as such there really is no true need to debate about patent rights relating to these linkages since such rights has long ago lapsed by now.

NOTE for those more legalistic among us : The EB pendulum was invented in 1986 and about a year later was granted a provisional patent

( under another name = FLARD = meaning Four Levered Rocker Device as a New Bicycle Crank & Helicopter Blade Sweep = I may elaborate on these some more later )

Those kind of patents only last for a year anyway, so from 1988 onward's a passing of about 23 years occurred ,

leaving any patent claims to be made on the EB truly a thing of the past since the 20 year expiry deadline

is long gone on that one too, referring to any claims of Newness value. So relax ,......this stuff is really legally free to use.

The EB is thus my original concoction in a stalled attempt to invent a gear-less Gearbox ( using only levers / linkages ) and

this invention attempt was before being informed about the Peaucellier-Lipkin linkage.

The Lapsed Provisional Patent is mentioned only to legally establish the claimed time / period

of invention as being in the time period closely after the month of March of 1986.

So anyway.....i have the right to give the EB idea away, for free ...... so here it is !!
